The opposition

Blackburn were fifth in the Championship table when they were victorious against Plymouth Argyle in February.

Fast forward eight games later and Rovers are 12th after picking up just two points since their last win.

A draw with Sheffield Wednesday stopped the losing run, but Rovers are nine points adrift of the top six with five games remaining.

Tyrhys Dolan (pictured) started the comeback against Sheff Wed and scored with his tenth goal contribution of the season.

Last time we met in LU4

Luton claimed the first home win of our Championship play-off winning season when Blackburn last visited Kenilworth Road.

Carlton Morris and Reece Burke netted the goals for the Town in the second half as we took all three points in September 2022.

Last time out

We came from behind to take a point home from Stoke City on Tuesday.

Millenic Alli popped up with his first goal for Luton in stoppage time after Lewis Baker’s deflected free kick gave the hosts the lead.

Officials

The referee for our fixture against Blackburn will be David Webb.

66 yellow cards and no red cards have been handed out by Webb across his 28 games this season.

25 of Webb’s 28 games this season have been Championship fixtures.

Webb last officiated a Luton fixture when we claimed all three points at Birmingham City back in February 2023.

Referee: David Webb

Assistant Referees: Daniel Leach & George Byrne

Fourth Official: David Rock
