Battle with the Blades on Saturday

Our official preview for Sheffield United

Kenilworth Road.

Luton Town are back in LU4 as we host high-flying Sheffield United at Kenilworth Road in the Sky Bet Championship (Saturday, 3pm UK).

Matt Bloomfield’s Hatters will look to make things right on home turf after defeat at Sunderland on Wednesday night.

Chris Wilder’s Blades are pushing Leeds United at the top of the Championship table, sitting just two points behind the leaders.

The opposition

Sheffield United are coming to Kenilworth Road knowing a win will put them top of the league until at least Monday night when current front-runners Leeds host Sunderland.

Saturday’s visitors have won six of their last seven Championship matches, scoring 12 goals in those seven games.

Their recent shock 3-0 defeat at home to strugglers Hull City failed to dampen United’s spirits, who have responded with six goals and a clean sheet across their three wins since.

The man to watch for the visitors is winger Jesuran Rak-Sakyi (pictured), who has two goals in the last two games and netted a brace in the reverse fixture back in October.

How to follow live

There are multiple ways to watch, listen or follow all the action from Kenilworth Road.

Subject to availability, there are tickets still available to be with us on the day. These are on general sale to supporters with a previous purchase history and all Hatters members.

If you cannot join us and are following from overseas, you can watch the game live on LTFC+.

Not at Kenilworth Road and not based abroad? You can still listen to the match live with Simon Pitts or follow game updates on our dedicated Match Centre, which will appear on the website and app home page in the build-up to kick-off.

This will be the first Luton Town fixture officiated by Smith in his refereeing career.
