We are back under the lights on Wednesday night as Luton Town host Sunderland at Kenilworth Road in the Sky Bet Championship.
Rob Edwards’ Hatters will hope to make another positive appearance in LU4 after the derby day victory against Watford last weekend.
Régis Le Bris’ Black Cats go into this fixture at the summit of the Championship, with just one defeat in the last five games.
The opposition
Sunderland have had a strong start to life under Frenchman Le Bris, losing just two of his first ten league games in charge at the Stadium of Light.
In their last game, the Black Cats came back from the MKM Stadium with all three points after a quick counter-attack was finished off by Wilson Isidor (pictured).
Chris Rigg, who was in the England U17 World Cup squad with Joe Johnson, has started in exceptional form, scoring crucial goals in big games against Middlesbrough and Leeds United.
How to watch
Tickets are still available for this fixture, subject to availability. This game is on general sale (with purchasing history) or available to Hatters Members (without a previous purchasing history before 1st October).

Last time we met
It was a night we would never forget when Sunderland last visited Kenilworth Road, with the Hatters coming from behind in the tie to beat the Black Cats in the Championship play-off semi-final back in May 2023.
Gabe Osho began the turnaround before Tom Lockyer nodded home to finish it off before half-time.
Last time out
It was a brilliant display from the Town as we comfortably beat local rivals Watford at Kenilworth Road last Saturday.
Goals from Jordan Clark, Carlton Morris and substitute Jacob Brown rounded off an outstanding derby day performance in Bedfordshire.
Officials
The referee for our fixture against Sunderland will be Tom Nield.
34 yellow cards and no red cards have been handed out by Nield across his eight games this season.
Nield dished out eight yellow cards in his previous fixture when Norwich City put four goals past Hull City earlier this month.
We have not had a game officiated by Nield in over six years, our last was in League One at Doncaster United in September 2018. It is the first time Nield has refereed a competitive fixture at Kenilworth Road.
Referee: Tom Nield
Assistant Referees: Daniel Leach & Matthew Jones
Fourth Official: Edward Duckworth
