2021/22 Season Review | November

The month kicked off with a five-minute blitz against Middlesbrough as goals from Sonny Bradley – a regular contributor in front of the Sky Sports cameras – Elijah Adebayo and Harry Cornick earned Town a comeback win.

Neil Warnock celebrated his record-breaking 1,602nd game in league management but for the first time in his career was defeated by a Luton Town team.

For the first and only time this season, Nathan Jones’ side then suffered back-to-back defeats at the hands of Stoke City and Queens Park Rangers either side of the international break.

Victory proved elusive on the road once more after Elijah Adebayo was denied from the penalty spot and 10-man Nottingham Forest held on to preserve a point. In a game of few chances, neither side could find a breakthrough in an action-packed second half, before disappointment was then compounded by Cardiff to end the month.

Goals from Rubin Colwill and captain Sean Morrison either side of a Jordan Clark equaliser helped Cardiff leave a freezing cold Kenilworth Road with all three points.
