We recognise that equality, diversity and inclusion are fundamental to the long-term success and sustainability of our Club. Diversity strengthens our community, and discrimination, in any form, has no place within it.
In line with the EFL Code of Practice, we are committed to promoting equality and ensuring that no individual is treated less favourably on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation. Every person connected to Luton Town Football Club is entitled to fair, equitable and dignified treatment.
Central to this is our We’re All Luton initiative, which reflects the belief that being part of Luton Town Football Club is defined by a shared identity and pride in the Club, not by background, gender, belief or any other characteristic. It reinforces that everyone who supports or engages with the Club belongs here and has a valued place within our community.
We expect all those associated with the Club to uphold these values, demonstrating respect, fairness and inclusion in all interactions. This commitment goes beyond policy - it is embedded in our culture, informs our decision-making, and shapes how we operate every day.
During our time in the Premier League, we also worked in alignment with the Premier League Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard (PLEDIS), using it as a framework to further strengthen and benchmark our approach. However, our commitment to EDI is not driven by league requirements alone; it is a core principle of who we are as a Club and how we serve our community.
To support this work, the Club has established an internal Equality, Diversity and Inclusion working group, bringing together colleagues from across departments to help shape, guide and embed inclusive practices throughout the organisation. Plans are also in place to develop an external advisory group, ensuring we continue to listen to and learn from the diverse communities we represent.
Our Board representative for Inclusion is David Wilkinson, who works closely with the internal group and wider stakeholders to champion this work. He does so with the full support of the Board, reflecting a shared commitment to driving meaningful and lasting inclusion across the Club.
