Dean Morgan became an instant favourite with Luton fans after his 90th minute winner in the 3-2 victory over Southampton in August 2005. Morgan moved to Kenilworth Stadium from Reading in July 2005 after seeing his opportunities limited at the Madjeski Stadium. The former Colchester striker scored three league goals in 13 starting appearances for the Royals. Morgan, who once had a trial with the Hatters earlier in his career, came through the ranks at Colchester where he scored six goals in 25 appearances, including a 35-yard screamer against Cardiff City at Ninian Park. Dean is a skilful midfielder who likes to get forward at every opportunity.
