With six games in 16 days now out of the way the Blue Square Bet Premier schedule for the Town takes a more genteel course.
Richard Money now oversees just three games in the next 14 days starting with a televised trip to Grimsby Town. A later kick-off time of 5.15pm, will also help, said the manager at his pre-match press conference.
"It will give us more time to prepare," Money said. "It means we don't have to travel overnight. We can get up in the morning, relax and have pre-match and relax. It'll be okay.
"We said after the first six games we'd see where we'd be. Our objective was to get as many points during that time and come through unscathed with players fit and we've achieved that.
"I'm reading that a number of clubs have players who have picked up hamstring injuries in the first six games.
"In contrast we have Andy Drury, who is suspended, and Freddie Murray, who is injured, unavailable for Grimsby.
"We have a very, very good group of players, high in quality.
"Now that the schedule has quietened down there is the possibility of naming a settled side but that depends on performances and injuries of course."
Neil Woods' Mariners were relegated from the Football League last season and have made a steady start to life in non-league.
Therefore the Hatters, who never travel well at Blundell Park, face yet another tough test on the road.
"All the clubs in this league are fighting for the lives in one shape or form," he said. "It's a tight division as the table shows and Grimsby are one of those teams at the top end.
"They've been relegated and I expect them to be up there all season so we're expecting a difficult game.
"There are no easy games in this league as we all know and we'll approach it no differently to any other we've played this season."
The Hatters boss also confirmed that contract extension discussions have opened with Jake Howells, Claude Gnakpa, Dan Walker and Godfrey Poku.
