Welcome back to Kenilworth Road for tonight's important Blue Square Premier match with Kidderminster Harriers.
I would like to extend a warm welcome to Steve Burr, his staff and the players, directors and supporters of Kidderminster.
Since Steve has taken over at Aggborough their results have been very impressive and up until their defeat on Saturday he has been unbeaten under his stewardship.
They were on the receiving end of a bad result against Stevenage in the FA Trophy at the weekend and they will no doubt be looking to bounce back this evening.
We must guard against that tonight. Any team who suffers a heavy defeat almost always go on produce a better performance in their following fixture.
Kidderminster still hold aspirations of promotion this season and they are dangerous opponents but rest assured all of our group is concentrating on what we do best.
Tonight we go in search of a fourth straight victory after overcoming a strong second-half fightback from a Wrexham team who I rate as one of the best teams in this division, despite their mid-table berth.
I thought Saturday was a key turning point. We had not registered a clean sheet at home in the league since way back in September.
We made the players aware of that before the game and to their credit it was pleasing a clean sheet was maintained, especially in the second period.
Wrexham did hit the crossbar but you do expect all teams to have a period in a game where they are on top and Saturday was no different.
It was a shame we could not turn our dominance in the first period into more goals but that said our goal, when it came, was one from the top drawer.
I had said a couple of weeks ago that we needed one of our strikers to step-up to the plate and score more regularly and Tom Craddock is certainly doing that and Saturday's strike was a terrific one at that.
Many people outside of this Football Club are talking about the top two sides in the division battling it out for the league title.
I wouldn't want it any other way. I have said, and will continue to do so, that our number one mission is to cement ourselves in the top five of this league.
You only have to look what a few bad results have done to Mansfield and York to see that a so-called 'secure' place in the Play-Offs is never guaranteed.
Every team in the league will have something to play for, whether it be promotion or relegation and that is why we need to continue the hard work up until the end of the season.
And with your support we can do that. You are playing a massive role in the fortunes of this Football Club and your backing on Saturday was superb.
Following the game tonight we have only have nine fixtures left. We need you every step of the way. Remember the players always appreciate your support.
Please keep it up.
Enjoy the game.
Richard.
