Hatters boss Richard Money is hopeful tonight's match with Histon will go ahead as his side look to bounce back to winning ways following Saturday's home defeat to AFC Wimbledon.
And with plenty of options available to him, the Town chief admitted he could freshen things up as his side look to cement their place in the Play-Off positions against Alan Lewer's Stutes.
"The beauty of playing Saturday-Tuesday is you get a chance to keep pushing forward and to bounce back," he said.
"I've said it before but it's a bit like falling off a bike, you want to back on it as quick as possible and hopefully the weather is not going to spoil it for us.
"There does come a time when we are going to need to freshen things up with one or two changes. Tomorrow might be the time.
"At Histon, Hatch came on at half time and was real handful for them. That type of thinking will come into our planning.
"I don't think the vast majority of our supporters would accept that. I think we've got to stay true to our traditions and the values of this football club. If we've got Hatch in the team then maybe we can go a little bit longer.
"The personnel sometimes dictate the way we play but I'm a bit of a purist. I like to see the beautiful game and I don't really want to get away from that too much. I think that's why I was brought in because the people in charge knew I wouldn't come here and bash the ball forward.
"I'm not about to suddenly change that. Saying that, if the game doesn't go ahead then we've got eight or nine over the last 12 at home, all of which we can win. We've got to get on a charge at home, there's no doubt about that, so we might have to compromise a little bit but I'd like not to think so.
"I think we've got a couple of free weeks at the end of April and after Easter so it would have to go in there [if it gets postponed] unless they [Histon] have got something organised already. If they have then we're going to have to play Saturday-Tuesday-Thursday one week
"I think everyone is in the same boat and I've said all along that we got a lot of bad weather for that period in January but it hasn't really gone away, we've had snow on and off all the time.
"Sometimes February is the worst month, but at the moment it hasn't been. It's probably not over yet and it looks as if it's going to be that kind of season. We are better off than some clubs in that we have more quality in numbers and therefore if we think we need to freshen things up then we can.
"There are a number of players who, at the minute, are out of the first 16 but a little bit unlucky not to be in there,
"Hopefully when we give them their chance they'll take."
On the injury front Claude Gnakpa is a doubt with a tight hamstring, Mark Nwokeji (ankle) and Ed Asafu-Adjaye (back and knee) are likely to need a reserve game to test their fitness.
