After such a terrific performance in midweek to dispose of Rotherham United in the FA Cup, manager Richard Money is hoping a similar display against Cambridge United will see the Hatters through to the next round of the FA Trophy.

Described as the "tie of the round" by Town boss, he takes his troops to the Abbey Stadium full of confidence off the back of Tuesday's 3-0 victory.

Talking ahead of the game at his pre-match press conference, the Hatters boss is looking forward to a game that has the potential to be another thriller following two games and 11 goals between the two sides already this season.

"There have been two fantastic matches already this season," he said. "It's the tie of the round and both sides will feel that can win and get through and go on a run in the competition.

"It's a real top game and I believe that this is probably the toughest hurdle to overcome. Whoever gets through will want to pick up a few decent draws to give them a chance of going all the way to Wembley.

"We got the rub of the green on Tuesday against Rotherham and every side needs a bit of luck to get to the latter stages of a competition."

Cambridge came back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw at Kenilworth Road last month while the Town came back from the same score to win 4-3 at the Abbey back in September.

And Money believes that his side will be in for another tough afternoon at their Blue Square Premier rivals.

"I genuinely believe the game brings together the two best footballing sides in the division," he said.

"I wouldn't rule them out of the Play-Offs yet so it has the makings of a really good game of football.

"They will fancy themselves at home. They will play very offensively and we're going to have to defend really well.

"After all they have scored five goals against us already this season that will make for a really interesting game."

With confidence high in the camp following Tuesday's win, Money also has the luxury of almost a fully-strength side to pick from with Matthew Barnes-Homer and Ashley Cain given the green light to feature in the Trophy after missing the cup win.

"We've got a full group to choose from which gives me the chance to make changes if I want to," he said.

"It gives me a selection headache but that is where the problems lies for me - and for any manager.

"They were our two best players at Chester last week and it gives me the opportunity to bring them both back if we want."

With the game the last one before three successive home matches in the Blue Square Premier over the festive period, Money just ones to take each game as it comes.

"Let's try and win tomorrow before we think about the next game," he said. "The key to any football club is to make sure everyone stays on an even keel.

"I don't like to get disappointed by the setbacks and I don't like to get too excited about the highs.

"Obviously we want to continue from where we left off against Rotherham because I thought the performance levels in games beforehand culminated in Tuesday's victory.

"Saturday is a one-off game and we will go there to play well and get through it."
