HARFORD REMAINS POSITIVE
Saturday's game against Nottigham Forest will see manager Mick Harford go back to the club which started his managerial career.
"Nottingham Forest is a good football club," Harford said. "I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
"It is one of the biggest clubs in the country.
"It will be a good experience for the younger players to play a good Forest side who are in the play-off positions."
But Mick believes his side can still pick up three points despite missing both Ryan Charles and George Beavan.
"We've played them twice already this season and won both times and hopefully we make it a hat-trick on Saturday.
"Richard Langley has played a few reserve games and I might bring him into the squad.
"Ryan Charles has seen the surgeon and now has to rest it for a week and George Beavan is still out with a groin injury.
"I will remain positive and try to pick the best side."
With the transfer window looming Mick took a minute to explain the situation surrounding player contracts.
He added: "I've got to bring people in who we can afford to pay.
"We have collated a list of players we want but because of the administration it is only a list - we are not allowed to approach any players.
"We have to move people out to bring people in because of the wage bill.
"The players here are a descent bunch, a good group of lads but they are aware of the situation."
One player who won't be at Kenilworth Road next season is Don Hutchinson, who revealed earlier this week that he was not going to be offered a new deal.
"It is Don Hutchison's prerogative to make it public that he won't be offered a new contract," Harford commented. "He wants to get into coaching and I wish him all the best but I don't see him as part of Luton's future.
"The players need to prove to me that they deserve to play at Luton."
Mick went on to wish Chris Cummins, who recently left the Club, good luck in his future career.
"Chris Cummins has resigned for his own reasons.
"He wasn't here for very long but he has put a good youth system in place and he goes with our blessing."
