Luton boss Kevin Blackwell has no fresh injury worries to contend with ahead of Saturday's trip to Crewe Alexandra.

Dave Edwards and Chris Coyne are pushing for a recall, after making the bench in the 4-1 victory over Northampton Town, while David Bell has suffered no reoccurrence of his rib injury after making a comeback in the win against the Cobblers.

Luton are still without Sam Parkin, Paul Underwood and Paul Peschisolido, who are all set to see specialists this evening as they continue their comeback from injury.

Keith Keane is also out, but Steve Robinson will return to the fold after being away on international duty with Northern Ireland.

And with on loan goalkeeper Ben Alnwick also returning from international duty, Blackwell has a slight selection headache for the trip to Gresty Road.

Blackwell said: "It's going to be a tough game at Crewe. They will try to kick and scrap on Saturday, just like Huddersfield did.

"We need to maintain the form from Monday night. I don't have any fresh injury problems and with the likes of Robbo and Alnwick back, I have some selection problems.

"But that is what I want. I want players on their toes and we must try build on the game against Northampton."

Luton's win against Northampton keeps them within touching distance of the play-off pack in the League One table.

And the Hatters boss continued: "We are talking about two or three points off the play-offs, but we are only six or seven points off the top of the table.

"It's a marathon, not a sprint. It's no good to be up there to be shot at early. I think it's better to come in late with a run. We are right in the pack.

"I think people are also forgetting that we are the only team from outside the top two divisions to still be in one of the major cup competitions."

Blackwell was talking to the press at the Club's new training facilities, which were opened on Thursday.

It's a venue that Blackwell is delighted has now come to fruition and has already got the thumbs up from his staff and players.

"We have had to wait with the training until we got certain things in to place. Fans I know are sceptical about what happens at Luton because our track record is abysmal about talking of things and then never achieving results.

"This is the first time the Club have had a designated training ground for 121 years, which is a massive statement. We are very proud to have these facilities and we are trying to take this Club forward."
