Doncaster Rovers post-match reaction

"It shows you how far we have come when we are disappointed with a point," commented Mike Newell. "We created a lot in the second half and their goalkeeper has made a couple of fantastic saves. Another day we could have scored four or five.
"There will be occassions when we don't get all three points. Things have been going our way over the last few weeks and you can't expect that will continue to happen every week.
"It was a great finish from Kevin Nicholls and another day that could have been the winner but Neil Roberts scored a good goal for them. We had to fight and compete to earn something because of the commitment Doncaster had, particularly in the first half.
"They scored with one of only two chances that they had, but they have got a point and they will be happy with that after the way the game went in the second half.
"Curtis Davies has hit the bar and he will get chances and score goals becuase he gets into good positions when he goes forward but he is not the only one who had a chance. It is not easy to come into games from the bench but Peter Holmes did well asnd he was unlucky not to score with the two chances he had.
"The goalkeeper has made some good saves and we have hit the woodwork, but it wasn't to be our day - that happens sometimes."
