Town boss Gary Brabin had mixed reactions after seeing his side get their name in the hat for Sunday's FA Cup with Budweiser first round draw with a 5-1 win over Hendon.
A goal down after five minutes the Hatters scored five in reply but the manager was less than impressed with certain aspects of his team's display against a side two divisions below them.
"I'm delighted to get through," he told Hatters Player afterwards. "But at times it looked as though we thought it was going to be too easy and we went a goal down. The marking for their goal was nil. That was disappointing but we stepped it up, but again I felt we took our foot of the gas in the second half.
"Eventually we've finished it off well but we should done it a bit more convincingly in the end.
"Everyone is allowed a bad 20 minutes but I expect a lot better from us and the lads have accepted that. That 20 minutes in the second half was pretty poor and we never looked like getting a hold in the game until we changed it. They came at us and penned us in which was disappointing but at the end of the day we're through and in the next round and that is all the matters."
The victory was overshadowed by news that midfielder James Dance has a suspected broken cheekbone, sustained when heading in the Town's second goal just 13 minutes in.
And the manager could not believe that another player has been added to an ever-growing injury list.
"We just don't seem to be able to break away from it at the minute," Brabin said. "We've got Gleeson, Blackett, Murray, Asafu-Adjaye, Lawless, Keane, Watkins, Morgan-Smith and now Dance injured.
"We're glad we've won today because there would have had to have been a replay on Wednesday and that would have stretched recourses.
"We have a big game next Saturday and hopefully we can get a few of them back before then and hopefully we won't lose any more."
