HARFORD PRAISES BRILL
Mick Harford was disappointed with his team's performance in their 2-0 defeat at the Keepmoat Stadium.
"We were very poof first half," he said. "We just couldn't handle them.
"We came out slightly better in the second half but we couldn't have got any worse.
"You can't turn up at any football game, at any level, and not start properly but that is what we did.
"In the first half we weren't up to my standard, our defence was poor.
"With the possession we had in the second half maybe we deserved an equaliser but that has been the story of our season."
But Harford was full of praise for goalkeeper Dean Brill.
He added: "Without Dean Brill's performance in the first half it would have been a landslide.
"He was fantastic, he has got the size and presence and he is a hard-working kid."
He went on to commend Doncaster's performance.
"Doncaster has a reputation for playing attractive football and they certainly did that today.
"They deserve to get promoted," he added.
