Manager Mick Harford admitted that he was disappointed after their 2-1 defeat against Gillingham:

"It's another defeat and the players are more disappointed than anyone," Harford told lutontown.co.uk after the match. "We should have done more in the first half.

"There has been a lot of times since I have been here when we have had plenty of chances but we only seem to get one goal and we need to be getting two or three.

"All credit to Gillingham, they came at it in the second half and at time we couldn't handle them."

Harford did however believe that there were positives he could take away from the game.

He added: "Sam did well and another night he might have got two or three and we looked comfortable in the first half.

"Some of the defending was excellent but at the crucial times we let ourselves down and we just couldn't seem to clear the ball."
