It's not often you see the Town squad surrounding a guy standing on a bed in the middle of the training ground.

But that was exactly the thing the club photographer Gareth Owen caught on camera as the Hatters players gathered to thank Monster Beds managing director Daniel King for his generous support this season.

The mad keen Town fan, who travels from Shrewsbury to be at games at Kenilworth Road, has taken out a variety of different sponsorship deals at the club.

Daniel's company Monster Beds is one of the largest sellers of beds on the internet with his website www.monsterbeds.co.uk a huge success.

Monster Beds now sponsor Alan Neilson and Claude Gnakpa's home shirts while in a first for the club, Daniel had also decided to sponsor goalkeeper Mark Tyler's gloves.

So while the Hatters' are in good hands on the pitch, Town supporters are rest assured that they are in the right hand should they look to purchase their next bed online.

Daniel's is also supporting the Club's Centre of Excellence and commercial manager David Hoskins paid tribute to the Monster Beds chief for all his support this season.

David said: "The support we have received from Daniel and Monster Beds has been absolutely fantastic.

"It goes to show that there is a huge amount of backing for the club. In fact the kind of support we have seen this season has been quite remarkable given our relegation from the Football League.

"Daniel's love for the club is obviously a major factor and it is just another example of a supporter lending their hand to assist us.
