SAVE MONEY WITH UTILITY WAREHOUSE
Luton Town are delighted to announce a new partnership with Utility Warehouse which will give Hatters fans the opportunity to save hundreds of pounds a year on their utility bills.
Utility Warehouse currently provides over a quarter of a million UK households with discounted savings on electricity, gas, phone and internet bills.
The deal will not only help supporters either, as the club will directly benefit from sales generated from the venture, enabling key investment into all areas of the club's development projects.
Town fans will be able to take advantage of this link by calling Utility Warehouse and quoting C45261 or by switching online at www.hatterscfr.co.uk
Hatters Director Stephen Browne was thrilled with the prospects the partnership brings to Hatters fans, the club and Utility Warehouse.
He said: "This really is a win-win situation. Our supporters could save a significant amount every year by switching their utility and phone provider to the Utility Warehouse, while at the same time the club will receive an annual commission on all sales at no cost to the bill payer."
The amount of money supporters could save could equate to the cost of a season ticket at Kenilworth Road.
Stephen added: "In addition, the potential commission revenue to Luton Town will make a huge difference to the finances of the club and the support we can give to the youth set up and first team."
The partnership Utility Warehouse and the Hatters have forged has come as a result of the club's 'Your Club Needs You' campaign which began in summer when the 2020 Consortium took control at Kenilworth Road.
Campaign administrator and promoter Shaf Hussain is an Authorised Distributor for the Utility Warehouse and he originally approached the club with a view to them becoming a Utility Warehouse Community Fundraiser.
He said: "I was reading an article in the local paper about those businesses interested in investing in the club to contact them and the idea hit me.
"I contacted Stephen Browne about the possibility and we took it from there.
"Now that we've shaken hands on the deal I'm delighted to be associated with the club as Luton Town are at the heart of our community.
"I'm looking forward to creating a very successful partnership."
From a commercial point of view, the Hatters' Commercial Manager, David Hoskins, believes that given the current economic climate it gives supporters a massive incentive to save money.
He said: "Obviously the partnership will save supporters money and earn the club revenue.
"However, fans are under no obligation to sign up with Utility Warehouse and are able to get a comparative quote.
"We're delighted to have struck up the partnership and long may it continue.
"We hope that as many Luton fans as possible take advantage of this new and exciting venture."
