Town boss Gary Brabin has revealed that Amari Morgan-Smith is doubtful for Saturday's game with Alfreton Town.
The Hatters' leading goalscorer hobbled off in the second half of Wednesday's goalless draw with Mansfield. However, the injury isn't as bad as first feared, and Brabin will wait until Saturday morning to see if the 22-year-old is fit to feature.
The Town, though, will definitely be without midfielder Keith Keane for the visit of the Reds as he continues to struggle with a hamstring injury. He could be back in action within the next fortnight, according to the boss.
James Dance could feature in the squad once again having been named as a substitute on Wednesday. The winger has been playing through the pain barrier with an ankle injury and is still not 100% fit.
Dean Beckwith and Shane Blackett are both back in training having recovered from their injuries, whilst Charlie Henry is back from his loan spell at Aldershot.
And finally to wrap up the manager's squad news John Paul Kissock is back in contention having sustained an eye injury in Monday win over Hinckley that required three stitches.
The boss also revealed he has two transfer targets in mind as he looks to strengthen his side before the transfer window closes next week.
