The Town's new retro look is being carried through our new-look matchday programme which hits the streets once more on Saturday for the visit of Alfreton Town.

Our cover picture this week shows stars of the future who were involved in our FA Trophy game with Hinckley United on Monday night.

Jerry Nash, 17, Charlie Smith, 16, Brett Longden, 17, Leeroy Magaraushe, 16, Colby McAdams, 18, and Jake Woolley 18, get together for a group shot after their involvement in the 3-0 win. Head of Youth Gregg Broughton pens his views on the Hatters' latest crop of starlets in his academy update.

As well as that we've got the important news from the boardroom, the manager's office and the dressing room as chairman Nick Owen, boss Gary Brabin and captain George Pilkington air their views.

Club historian Roger Wash sifts through his photographic archive to bring us Picture the Past and the Camera Never Lies. Simon Pitts weighs in with his stats too, giving us the lowdown on games played on this day in the Hatters' history.
