Boss Gary Brabin felt his side lacked the quality when it counted as the Hatters were held to a goalless draw against Mansfield.
The Town failed to breakdown a resolute Stags defence on a frustrating night at Kenilworth Road which disappointed the manager.
"Frustration is the word that sums it up for me," Brabin told Hatters Player afterwards. "We started the game with three of our leading goalscorers up front and the one thing I was confident in was that we'd score goals.

"As we haven't that's hugely disappointing, and the fact is we didn't create enough. I thought we played some nice football but we fell short in the final third.
"There was plenty of effort and commitment from the lads and we did tried to play football the right way, but it's in the final third where it counts and where we lacked a bit of quality.
"We were on the front foot but Mansfield made it hard for us, getting men behind the ball to frustrate us, but when they had chances they caused us problems.
"It's disappointing, but we'll be in for training on Thursday and regroup and focus on improving on tonight's performance read for Saturday and Alfreton."
The manager started with Amari Morgan-Smith after his goal against Hinckley in Monday's FA Trophy tie but the forward lasted 57 minutes before being replaced by Stuart Fleetwood.
"Amari felt his hamstring again," Brabin revealed. "We'll see how he is but it's a concern, obviously. He had 30 minutes on Saturday and 45 minutes on Monday and after scoring a goal he'd felt good so we decided to give him a start again.
"We'll monitor the situation and hopefully he'll be okay for Saturday."
