TICKLED PINK
If you've been away this summer or not kept an eye on the Hatters' pre-season preparations it might have escaped your attention that the club have commissioned a very special commemorative shirt to mark out 125th anniversary.
The 2010/11 campaign is the 125th in our history since the Luton Town we know and love kicked-off their first competitive match against Marlow in October 1885.
The special strip, which was first wore at Marlow in this summer's pre-season friendly, was also worn against Liverpool at Kenilworth Road in our opening home pre-season fixture.
But fear not! Those of you who have not seen the new colours in the flesh will have an opportunity to so quite soon...on Saturday to be precise!
Following discussions with the Football Conference, the Town have been given the green light to sport the kit in the opening league fixture against Altrincham at Kenilworth Road.
So if you hadn't thought about getting along to Keniworth Road on Saturday then we hope this will change your mind. Tickets are still available on the day of the game and remember ticket prices in all areas again have been frozen.
With eight new signings, a lovely green playing surface primed for action and a new-look programme what are you waiting for?
It promises to be a fantastic season at Kenilworth Road and it's already been a busy summer of plenty of changes, details of which, including more information on the commemorative shirt, can be found in Saturday's award-winning programme Talk of the Town.
