Richard Money is encouraging Hatters fans to get down to Kenilworth Road tonight to see his side in action against Scottish Premier League outfit Kilmarnock.
The boss's call came after only 2,769 supporters turned up to witness the Town enjoy a comfortable 3-0 victory over a Liverpool XI on Tuesday evening.
And with Kilmarnock bringing a first team squad that competed in this year's South West Challenge Cup - the tournament the Town won last pre-season - Money is hoping the pull of a sterner test will result in a bigger crowd.
Talking after the Liverpool game he said: "The Liverpool crowd was a little bit disappointing but I think most people knew that they were going to send a youngish team - even though the team-sheet was very impressive.
"But on Friday I'd like to think they'll be a big crowd. Come and watch the game and then go out for a meal or go down the pub afterwards.
"Kilmarnock are bringing their first team and it will be a real test for us.
"I'd like to think people will go away from the game tonight and have liked what they've seen.
"And hopefully word will get around and we'll get a big crowd."
