NEWTON IN FOR RETURN BUT HATCH OUT

Posted on: Fri 19 Mar 2010

The Hatters could have Adam Newton back in contention for Saturday's trip to Ebbsfleet United after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The 29-year-old trained on Friday morning and, according to manager Richard Money, will play apart in Saturday's fixture should he be passed fit in the morning.

However, Liam Hatch, who also has been suffering from a hamstring injury, will not feature at Stonebridge Road.

The striker has also been suffering from flu which Money believes has not helped.

Craig Nelthorpe, Mark Nwokeji and George Beavan have also been ill.

Beavan and Nwokeji both trained on Friday.

The Town boss is expecting another tough test at Stonebridge Road and has warned his players of complacency after winning four matches on the bounce.
