HATTERS HOPEFUL ON HATCH FITNESS

Posted on: Mon 08 Mar 2010

The Town will wait and see if Liam Hatch overcomes a tight hamstring problem in time to face Forest Green Rovers tomorrow night.

The striker scored the Hatters' opening goal in Saturday's 3-2 victory at Hayes & Yeading United before being withdrawn in the second period.

Hatch did not train on Monday but as Richard Money revealed at his press conference he wouldn't have done anyway.

"We have to keep Liam wrapped in cotton wool," he said. "He's got a tight hamstring and we hope he is ok for Tuesday."

The boss also believes his side can still hunt down the sole automatic promotion place and thinks the Hatters' faithful have a big role to play with eight of the last 12 games at Kenilworth Road.
