KOVACS TIPPED AT 20/1

Posted on: Thu 28 Jan 2010

Were you on the right side of our advice to back new signing Janos Kovacs to net on his Town debut?

At lutontown.co.uk we don't like to brag but prior to the Hatters' 2-0 victory at Histon we suggested you back the big man - dubbed The Animal at former club Lincoln - to net the first goal against the Stutes at the oh-so-tempting odds of 20/1.

And lo and behold the Hungarian came up trumps seven minutes into the second half to nod Kevin Nicholls' corner home to give the Hatters the lead.

"Ok, so how about on the goal front. How about new signing Janos Kovacs? He's 6ft 4in tall and will no doubt be a real threat from set pieces which are always important to any team's chances. And at 20/1 to net either the FIRST or the LAST goal of the match represents terrific value in our eyes."
