GET WITH THE PROGRAMME

Posted on: Wed 02 Dec 2009

"On Saturday we earned a deserved replay against a very good Rotherham United side flying high League 2," writes Richard Money in his programme notes for the visit of Kettering Town.

"It was frustrating to concede an equaliser on the stroke of half-time but after going behind in the second half we showed great character to pull level with Mark Nwokeji finishing smartly after coming on as a substitute.

"But a result like that once again underlines the continued progress that we have been making in recent weeks."

As well as hearing from the gaffer, captain Kevin Nicholls gives his thoughts from the dressing room while director Stephen Browne welcomes two new faces and addresses the situation regarding the club's youth development.

Wednesday's issue of Talk of the Town for the visit of the Poppies is packed with exclusive features together with all your usual favourites.

We speak exclusively to new signing Matthew Barnes-Homer on his switch to Kenilworth Road and what he hopes to achieve with the Hatters.

Our popular head to head quiz between two Hatters players is included and this week we're still into round two of the competition as Kevin Gallen and Kevin Watson play-off for a place in the semi finals. The questions are getting tougher and the competition in the dressing room is hotting up with the final in sight.

Long-standing favourites from Roger Wash and Simon "Statto" Pitts are, as ever, in their rightful place.

And if you want more we've got match reports, photographs and reaction from the Town's matches with Cambridge and Rotherham.

The 68-page issue is available at every home game from all the normal locations, inside and outside Kenilworth Road at the usual price of £3.
