HATTERS DOWN TO THE BARE BONES

Posted on: Fri 23 Oct 2009

Caretaker manager Alan Neilson is likely to change things around for the Hatters' FA Cup clash with Grays Athletic.

A flu bug has hit the club that has led to the Under 18s' game with Brentford being postponed.

Captain Kevin Nicholls is the latest player to come down with illness and won't feature on Saturday as Neilson has to prepare for the game with Julian Dicks' with a threadbare squad.

The Town will also be without Freddie Murray, who cannot play against his parent club as well as Keith Keane, Liam Hatch, Lewis Emanuel and Rossi Jarvis while striker Ben Wright has returned to Peterborough United after his loan expired.

On the plus side Neilson welcomes back Kevin Gallen after recovering from a shoulder injury . He is included in the squad together with Shane Blackett and Andy Burgess.

Portsmouth have agreed to allow defender Callum Reynolds play in the competition.
