BURGESS BACK FOR ALTY TRIP

Posted on: Fri 16 Oct 2009

Midfielder Andy Burgess is back in the Hatters squad for tomorrow's Blue Square Premier clash with Altrincham.

The 28-year-old returns following a hamstring injury sustained in the goalless draw at Kettering Town on August 29.

However, Burgess' comeback is the only good news from Kenilworth Road as Kevin Gallen (shoulder), Keith Keane (knee) and Liam Hatch (ankle) remain sidelined.

Caretaker Manager Alan Neilson also revealed that they will assess Freddie Murray Saturday morning to see if the the Irishman is fit to feature at Moss Lane.

A number of the Hatters squad are also suffering from a bout of flu and Neilson will also be without the services of the suspended Rossi Jarvis following his red card at Kidderminster last Saturday.

Check lutontown.co.uk later today for the full pre-match news.

Hatters Player subscribers will also get to see exclusive interviews with Burgess and Neilson so stay tuned.
