STEVENAGE PROGRAMME PREVIEW

Posted on: Tue 29 Sep 2009

"It's nice to be back on our own ground after four of the last five games away from Kenilworth Road.

"We have always maintained one of the key factors this season is to make Kenilworth Road a fortress. So far we have been very resolute at home and we will be looking to extend our unbeaten home record tonight.

"After the disappointing result and performance at Wrexham last Tuesday, we asked the players for a response, and anybody who was at Cambridge on Saturday will agree the players responded in the manner we wanted.

"I'm sure Saturday's game will be talked about for your years to come and rightly so.

"I thought the spirit and endeavour shown by the players was absolutely first class in every respect," writes Mick Harford in his programme notes for tonight's visit of Stevenage Borough.

Tonight's issue of Talk of the Town for the visit of Boro is still packed with exclusive features together with all your usual favourites!

Throughout the season you will continue to see more exclusive interviews with Mick Harford's team as well as Mick himself, and tomorrow we speak to defender Freddie Murray after playing against his former Cambridge as he prepares to meet another one in Stevenage tonight.

We continue in our A-Z feature, where members of the Town side tell us what they like doing when they're not playing football.

Have you ever wondered which player knows the most about the beautiful game? Wonder no more as two of Mick's squad will go 'HEAD2HEAD' in the new programme quiz.

It's been a popular feature already this season with competition fierce in the Hatters' the dressing room. This week its a high-scoring battle between goalkeepers Mark Tyler and Shane Gore.

The 68-page programme is available at every home game from all the normal locations, at the usual price, £3.
