2PM PITCH INSPECTION AT APPLEDORE

Posted on: Fri 17 Jul 2009

There will be pitch inspection at Appledore ahead of the Hatters' match with Wycombe Wanderers tonight as heavy rain continues to fall in North Devon.

The inspection will take place at 2pm to see if the Appledore pitch is suitable for the Group C fixture against Peter Taylor's Chairboys to go ahead.

We'll keep you up-to-date of the news as soon as we hear it.

If the fixture does go ahead as planned, Town fans are being urged by the tournament committee to arrive early at the venue as space is limited.

The game is proving to be one of the most popular in the tournament so far and as a result, taking into consideration the size of the ground, the gate will be capped at a capacity of 700.
