The Hatters will be meeting Barrow for the first time since a 2-1 defeat at Holker Street during the 1969/70 promotion season.
Recent history:
David Bayliss is one half of the Bluebirds' managerial duo that will be a familiar face to Town fans having played 41 times for the Hatters between 2001 and 2005.
Barrow dropped out of the Football League and joined the Northern Premier League in 1972 after being voted out of the league in favour of Hereford United.
In more recent times the Bluebirds won promotion back to the Conference when winning the Conference North play-off final against Stalybridge Celtic in 2007/08.
Last season Bayliss and co-manager Darren Sheridan ensured another campaign in the Conference when the club finished one place and seven points above the relegation zone.
FACT: In last season's FA Cup the Bluebirds took 7,000 supporters to their third round tie at Middlesbrough.
