Hatters' manager Mick Harford continues to make his mark in the transfer market after making his fifth signing of the summer following the arrival of goalkeeper Mark Tyler from Peterborough United.

Norwich-born Tyler has agreed to sign a two year contract at Kenilworth Road after 15 years and 483 appearances between the sticks at London Road.

A product of the Posh youth system, Tyler, 32, was rewarded for his loyal service with a testimonial against Liverpool in 2007.

However, competition from Joe Lewis for the goalkeeper's jersey saw Tyler drop down the pecking order and emergency loan spells at Hull City and Watford followed without making an appearance.

Another loan spell followed, this time at League 2 side Bury, where he helped the Shakers to win seven games of the 11 matches he started - including in the 2-1 victory over the Town in January.

The former England Youth International joins former Peterborough team-mates Adam Newton, Liam Hatch and Claude Gnakpa at Kenilworth Road.

Tyler will wear the number one jersey.
