As Mick Harford continues to build a team fit to return to the Football League at the first attempt the Hatters are delighted to confirm the signing of striker Liam Hatch on a season-long loan from Peterborough United.
The Hitchin-born 27-year-old will arrive at Kenilworth Road and is due to stay until the end of next season with a view to a permanent move.
Hatch started his career with Herne Bay before a switch to Ebbsfleet United and is another player signed by Mick Harford with a Conference winners' medal having been a part of the Barnet team that lifted the Conference title in 2004/05.
His form at Underhill persuaded Peterborough to pay £150,000 for his services in January 2008 but has since found his chances limited at London Road and was one of 11 players transfer listed by Posh boss Darren Ferguson following their elevation to the Championship.
Last season the 6ft 3in England C international was loaned out to Darlington where he scored nine goals in 23 appearances including two in the Quakers' 5-1 win against the Hatters in January.
