WEMBLEY DVD COMING SOON

Posted on: Thu 21 May 2009

Luton Town are currently working on a DVD of the full Johnstone's Paint Trophy final and the club are pleased to announce they have been given the full go ahead by Sky TV.

Sky TV have granted licence rights to the club and this allows Hatters from all over the world to purchase a complete copy of this very special occasion. Stocks of DVDs are expected to arrive in the next few weeks.

David Hoskins, Commercial Manager for the club said: "We are working as fast as we can to get all the artwork and copies made. For the vast majority of Luton fans this will be the first time they will have seen the complete game due to Sky switching channels during extra time, and of course the problems caused for people recording the game.

"We will be selling the DVD in the club shop and through our online shop. We hope to get it in stock by the end of the season and we are pulling out all the stops. We will make an announcement on the official website as soon as stock is available so fans can start purchasing."

David also revealed that the club are working on a collectors edition DVD of the 1988 Littlewoods Cup Final. It is expected to be released in the autumn and it is rumoured that it will also include extensive coverage of the 20th Anniversary Legends Day.
