PARKIN MOVE CONFIRMED

Posted on: Thu 23 Oct 2008

Today, Luton Town agreed a loan deal for Sam Parkin to go to Leyton Orient on loan until January. Parkin moves with a view to a permanent move should the loan be successful.

Gary Sweet, managing director of the Hatters commented, "Sam has been unfortunate with injuries in his time at the club, including this season. However, he has been a valuable member of the squad for us. By moving to Leyton Orient Sam has the chance of more first team football so it's a great opportunity for him and we wish him well."

Mick Harford said, "It's in the best interests of Luton Town that Sam Parkin moves on to Leyton Orient. Unfortunately, Sam has not had the best of luck with injuries over the past few seasons. With Sam leaving this gives us scope for the continuing regeneration of our squad."
