"30 DOWN TO ZERO" ON SALE FROM SATURDAY
Luton fans reacted to this season's 30-point deduction in a variety of ways, some got angry, some depressed and some became defiant, however one fan reacted in a completely unique way. Singer and life-long Hatters fan Jane Ledsom, along with her backing group "The Shouty Boys", have recorded the song "30 Down to Zero (Here Come The Hatters)" which calls upon the team and it's fans to unite and fight to claw back the 30 point loss. The song will be played before every game until the 30 point deduction is over turned, and it has already become a bit of an anthem amongst the Hatters' faithful.
Now is your chance to not only buy one of Jane's limited edition debut singles, but also at the same time help the club directly because Jane and her record company Halo Records have very kindly offered to donate all the proceeds from the record to help Luton Town Football Club's cause. Copies will be on sale from the club shop and the ticket office at a cost of £2.
Supporters who purchase the record will also get the chance to win a seat in an Executive box for a game. In a Willy Wonka style competition inside the CD sleeve of 8 copies of the record will be a special LTFC "30 Down to Zero" ticket with details of how to claim your prize.
Jane said, "I'm so excited that the release date has finally arrived, I just can't wait too see my debut CD on the shelves, and the fact that it is helping the club makes it even more special. We are really grateful for all the support we've received so far."
Jane and The Shouty boys will be guests of the club for Saturday's game against Aldershot, and will be on hand to meet and greet fans before the game outside the club shop from 2.15pm and will make an appearance on the pitch at half time.
Gary Sweet, Managing Director of Luton Town Football Club said, "As we have said before we were so flattered by Jane and Halo Records' wonderful offer. The reaction amongst fans when we've played it prior to our home games this season has been fantastic and I urge everyone to go out and buy a copy, not only for the benefit of the club but also in recognition of Jane's amazing gesture."
