COMMUNITY TRUST FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER FULL TIME
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the Management and Future Expansion of the following activities currently delivered by Luton Town F.C. Community Trust.
- Schools Curriculum Programme
- After School and Lunch Clubs within Schools.
- Evening and Weekend Soccer Schools
- Holiday Courses.
In addition the successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the Football Development Manager assisting him in the day-to-day coaching and administration within our Soccer Centres: which are the entry level to our T.I.P.S. Player Development Programme.
The Football Development Officer will report directly to the Football and Community Development Manager and will be expected to provide quarterly reports which will be submitted to the Schemes Management Forum.
The post will be based primarily at Luton Town's Kenilworth Road Stadium. Due to the nature of the work we would expect that any candidate applying for this post would live within the County of Bedfordshire or its close proximity. It is a requirement that the applicant has a Full Current Driving Licence and has their own car that they are able to use in the course of their work for Luton Town FC Community Trust.
The candidate would ideally have previous experience of working within the Community Department of a Professional Football Club, must be highly motivated, be able to work within a team and have the ability to develop and deliver a long - term strategic plan.
The successful candidate will also hold a Football Association Level 3 (UEFA B) Coaching Award or at the very minimum be working towards Final Assessment for this qualification. The successful applicant will also be in possession of a current Enhanced CRB Disclosure plus current FA Emergency Aid and Child Protection Qualifications.
The remuneration package will include 4 weeks paid annual leave (to be taken in accordance with the Trust Directive), and private personal medical cover.
