The draw for byes for Round One of the 2008/09 Johnstone's Paint Trophy can be viewed on The Football League website from 3.30pm this afternoon. A total of sixteen clubs will receive bye into the second round, eight from the Northern Section and eight from the Southern Section.

The draw for Round One of this season's competition takes place on Sky Sports Soccer AM on Saturday 16th August, with the matches being played on the week commencing September 1.
