MATCH REPORT: LUTON 1-1 LEICESTER
A penalty save kept the Hatters in the game, forcing a draw with Leicester City.
Despite the visitors keeping possession for most of the first half it was the Hatters who scored first.
The Foxes had plenty of chances but it took them 55 minutes to find the equaliser.
Shortly after the referee awarded a penalty to Leicester but Brill kept the teams equal.
Leicester started the stronger of the two sides and were unlucky not to score in the opening few minutes.
Luton took the lead in the 30th minute after Matthew Spring found space to work his way around the defenders before firing in a shot from 30 yards out.
The Hatters almost doubled their lead when Efe Echanomi forced a diving save from keeper Conrad Logan.
HALF-TIME: LUTON 1-0 LEICESTER
The visitors continued to press after the break and got their reward on the 55th minute when a cross found the feet of Llyod Dyer who tapped the ball past Dean Brill.
Brill made a spectacular save after Leicester were awarded a penalty following a handball in the area.
Ex-Hatter Steve Howard stepped up to the spot, but much to the delight of the home fans, Brill dived to his right, pushing the ball clear.
