So you thought England wouldn't be playing in Euro 2008 this summer - well think again.

It is unthinkable that England will not be there, so I, with the help of some friends, we will be making it happen.

My name is Fabio Capello (well it was Dave Little but I changed it by Deed poll and I come from Newcastle not Italy!) and I am determined to lead England to victory in Austria

All you need to qualify to play for my England is to have the same name as a current England Footballer!

I have secured the support of Nationwide Building Society, the England team sponsor, and British Airways, and we will fly you out, put you up and kit you out for this tournament experience.

These lucky players will be toughing it out on the playing fields of Austria against a Spanish representative team on June 10th in Innsbruck.

Which, coincidentally, are the opponents, the day and the venue that England would have opened up their Euro 2008 account.

This is a one off opportunity to represent your country and help England to be present at Euro 2008.

So if you thought John Terry and Steven Gerrard would be sunning themselves at one of Europe's elite resorts think again.

So if you know someone called Peter Crouch, he need not be any good, he need not be tall he just needs to wear the jersey with pride and what is more we will provide the kit, fly you out there, put you up in a hotel and provide you with a few beers (only 2 mind as my fitness coach tells me it is not good for you!)
