Harry the Hatter, the Luton Town Football Club mascot, has been kidnapped on his way to a routine visit.

Unbeknown to those around him, Harry was cunningly kidnapped without a sound made, a clue left or a note to explain his whereabouts. "Harry was on his way to Debenhams", said a Luton Town representative, "when he decided to take a quick breather in the car park. We turned our eyes for two minutes and he was gone!"

The Club is offering a reward of £100 to the person or persons who return him safely.

Tracy Maddox, Luton Town's commercial department said, "If anyone has seen or heard anything about the disappearance of Harry the Hatter then we urge them to come forward. He is part of our club and we already feel a little empty without him."

A hunt is underway to try and find Harry the Hatter and a special investigation unit is being called in. Prime suspects are yet to be confirmed.

If you have any information on Harry's whereabouts, please contact the Club on 01582 411 622.
