Luton Town can confirm that David Bell has gone on loan to Leicester until the end of the season with a view to make the move permanent.

Manager Mick Harford said: "It's potentially a great opportunity for David, a great deal for both clubs and one that we could not refuse."

Bell has made 87 appearances for the Hatters, scoring eight times since joining from Rushden & Diamonds in January 2006.
