Kevin Blackwell look set to make some enforced changes to his side for Friday's trip to Cheltenham Town.
But the Luton boss wouldn't reveal who is struggling for fitness, as the Hatters look to extend their unbeaten run.
Luton are undefeated in seven games, conceding only two goals in the process, and Blackwell is confident of extending that run.
The Hatters boss said: "Our performances, combined with our form, is more suited to a team going for promotion and I want to keep that going.
"Although we do happen to be at the bottom of the league we are trying not to focus on that."
Blackwell is also confident that one team will soon be on the end of a heavy defeat and has been delighted by the performances of his players, during what has been a difficult time at the Club.
"If you look at the game on Tuesday night, the Forest goalkeeper made some really good saves, we hit the post and had two shots cleared off the line, so I think someone will be in for a pasting soon.
"We just need to convert the chances we are creating because we are playing some great football at times."
Although Blackwell wouldn't reveal his injury concerns for Friday's trip to Whaddon Road, he did disclose that long time injury casualty Sam Parkin is resuming some form of training.
However, Blackwell revealed that he doesn't want to rush the former Ipswich striker back into action.
"Sam has started to do some running at the training ground. He was kicking a few balls again this morning so we are just holding our breath at the moment.
"He has been in this position on three occasions and has broken down each time. We have now got to get past this next hurdle.
"If we can get past it then it would be terrific to have someone of Sam Parkin's quality back because we know what he can do at this level.
"It's just been a crying shame that since he has been here he has hit a total block."
Meanwhile, the Luton boss knows just how important Friday's game at Cheltenham really is.
The Robins are just one place and two points above the Hatters in the League One table, and have won just once in their last 11 games.
But Blackwell doesn't want to apply further pressure to his players by describing these type of matches as 'six pointers'.
"We have got to get something out of every game because that is the expectations of Luton Town Football Club and their fans.
"What I don't want to do is put so much pressure on these games and say 'We must win this' and 'We must win that.'
"The problem then comes that you can put these players under a lot of pressure and I don't want them playing in fear and breaking down.
"If you play positively then you will make a mistake, it will be a genuine and honest mistake. I can't keep throwing it down the players throats that we have got to win each game because we need the money.
"We are setting our targets to get ourselves out of the relegation battle as quickly as we can."
