LINCOLN OR FOREST IN FA CUP FOR WINNERS OF HATTERS' TIE

Posted on: Tue 13 Nov 2007

Luton will play at home to Lincoln City or Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup Second Round if they win their replay at Brentford.

Ties will be played on the weekend of Friday November 30 to Sunday December 2.

The Hatters last played Nottingham Forest in League One on October 27 and won that game 2-1 with goals from Chris Perry and David Bell.

Luton have not met Lincoln since February 26, 2002 at Sincil Bank in League Two, when a Matthew Taylor goal three minutes before half time gave the Hatters a 1-0 victory. The last meeting at Kenilworth Road came at the beginning of the same season on September 18, 2001. Aaron Skelton scored one of only two goals he ever notched for Luton after just nine minutes and it stayed that way until a Chris Coyne own goal four minutes from time gave City a point.

Lincoln and Forest drew 1-1 at Sincil Bank on Saturday, when Forest scored both goals. Lewis McGugan's strike after 25 minutes was cancelled out by a Kelvin Wilson own goal on 38 minutes.

Luton's replay with Brentford will be at Griffin Park on Tuesday November 20 at 7.45pm. Tickets are now on sale. Click here for details.
