Luton's Sam Ellis was pleased to see the Hatters in the hat for the Second Round of the FA Cup after a 1-1 draw with Brentford.

Despite losing both Paul Furlong and Jarsolaw Fojut through injury and going a goal down at half-time, Luton still fought to grind out a replay at Griffin Park.

Calvin Andrew's first goal of the season gave Luton a second chance, and Ellis was pleased with the way the Hatters kept themselves in the game.

Ellis said: "Brentford played well first half but I felt we had chances in the first and second half.

"To come from a goal behind and get something is always pleasing. We are still in the hat and we would have taken that at half-time."

But the draw came at a price as Furlong lasted just four minutes after aggregating his groin injury, while Fojut was taken off on a stretcher.

Ellis added: "Paul is probably just anxious, even at his age.

"As for Jaroslaw, the assessment will be made tomorrow because we need to give it 24 hours for the injury to calm down.

"It's probably an ankle injury, or maybe an achilles problem, we will just have to wait and see.

"At the moment we are down to the bare bones, but we have just got to get on with it. The lads that were out in the second half did really well to get something out of the game and we have just got to solider on."
