KEANE GETS IRISH CALL UP

Luton defender Keith Keane has been called up by the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad.

The Irish will be involved in an international friendly on Friday October 12, which will take place against Sweden in Uppsala.

This match is a warm up for Ireland's European Qualification game against England on Tuesday October 16.

Keane is one of six new players to be called up by the Under-21 manager Don Givens with Shane Supple, Michael Spillane, Alan Power, Alan Sheehan and Keith Treacy also included.
