Luton Town have been handed a home game against Charlton Athletic in the draw for Round Three of the Carling Cup which was made on Saturday lunch time.

Charlton booked their place in the third round of the Carling Cup with a 4-3 victory over Stockport County in midweek and the tie will immediately bring back memories of the Hatters' epic clash at the Valley in September 2003 in the same competition. The sides shared eight goals that day and had to settle for a penalty shoot-out to settle the tie, the home side eventually won it 8-7.

The match will be played the week commencing 24th September and ticket details will be announced on lutontown.co.uk as soon as they are confirmed.
