Kevin Blackwell is delighted to have seen new signing Paul Peschisolido get off the mark for the Hatters.
The striker grabbed two goals at the weekend against Norwegian side Algard, with his second effort particularly pleasing the Luton boss.
And Blackwell is confident the former Derby striker will have a successful stay at Kenilworth Road.
Blackwell said: "I'm absolutely delighted with Paul's performance. He was very good throughout.
"His second goal in particular was first class and that is what his experience can bring to the Club.
"He has that ability in front of goal. He has settled in well with the rest of the new lads and I believe he will have a successful career with the Club."
Blackwell was also delighted by his players attitude. After going a goal down to the Norwegian side, his side battled back to score twice in each half.
"I was generally happy," continued the Hatters boss. "We played some good stuff, particularly in the first half. Algard where a fairly physical side, but our attitude in front of goal was good."
The Hatters boss was also pleased with the tour of Norway and despite having their first game postponed due to the weather, he admits that trip has been a worthwhile exercise.
"We have had some first class facilities. The hotel and training complex has been brilliant and the lads have enjoyed the trip.
"The attitude of the players has been brilliant throughout. They have trained very hard all week and are looking sharper every day."
Luton are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to play Dagenham and Redbridge, kick-off 7:45pm.
