It has been back to the training ground for Luton's first-team squad out in Norway today after the postponement of their first pre-season friendly.
The Hatters were schedueled to face Sandnes Ulf as part of a two-match tour, but heavy rainfall in Norway meant the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
It gave Luton's squad the chance to enjoy a 'leisure day' which involved a go-karting session at a local track.
But on Thursday morning, Luton manager Kevin Blackwell told lutontown.co.uk that the players are due back on the training ground today for another gruelling session.
"We gave the lads a bit of a break yesterday and they took themselves down to a local go-karting track," said Blackwell.
"They have been training hard this week and sometimes it's good for the players to be allowed to let off a bit of steam.
"However, they will be back on the training field today and we will be working hard."
The rain in Norway may have prevented Wednesday's game being played, but Blackwell says that training has still gone ahead as planned.
"The weather has been awful and there was no chance of the game going ahead. However, it isn't a major problem and we are still able to train as normal.
"It would have been nice to see the lads get another game under their belt, but we still have a match on Saturday and the tour has still been beneficial."
Luton are due to play Algarde on Saturday and Blackwell is confident that the game will go ahead.
"The game will be played. The weather has been good where we are due to play the Algarde match so I can't see it being a problem."
The cancellation of the Sandnes Ulf game has stopped Blackwell watching Norwegian trialist Oyvind Hoaas, a striker currently playing for Fredrikstad FK.
However, Blackwell says the 23-year-old may be invited to Kenilworth Road later on.
"It's annoying that we haven't been able to take a proper look at him. He did well in training and looked a decent player.
"He won't be able to play on Saturday, but I may keep tabs on him and maybe something will come up at a later date."
